I never felt the true meaning of those words until I became a mother. As I have watched my son grow, I have realized how quickly the beautiful moments pass you by. From the first breath to the the first steps, every second means more than the last. I first began taking pictures not as a photographer, but as a mommy trying the best I could to preserve these special times in my child's life. I found inside of me a love for something new, a love for capturing all of the beauty God has offered to us through a gorgeous sunset or a fleeting smile. I hope that my work can bring as much joy to others as it has brought me, and that years from now someone will be flipping through an album and smile because I helped them save a piece of their lives they want to revisit again and again. I hope that my pictures are as beautiful as the stories behind them.
